1. Who We Are

SportTips AI is developed and operated by Petran SW (Petros Alexakis), an independent software developer based in Greece. If you have any questions about this policy, you can contact us at [email protected].

2. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide and improve the app. This includes:

• Device information — operating system version, device model, and a randomly generated anonymous device identifier.
• App usage data — which screens you view, features you use, and session duration (analytics only, never linked to your identity).
• Crash reports — automatically generated diagnostic data when the app crashes, to help us fix bugs.
• Push notification tokens — if you grant notification permission, we store a device token to send you match alerts and the daily tip.
• Purchase information — if you subscribe, RevenueCat records your subscription status. We never see your full payment details; those are handled by Apple or Google.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, camera, or microphone data.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To deliver and personalise app features (predictions, tips, odds)
• To send push notifications you've opted into
• To diagnose crashes and improve app stability
• To understand aggregate usage patterns and improve features
• To manage your subscription status

We never sell your data to third parties, and we never use it for advertising profiling.

4. Third-Party Services

SportTips AI integrates the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

• Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging) — used for usage analytics, crash diagnostics, and push notifications. Firebase Privacy Policy

Sports data (fixtures, odds, standings) is fetched from third-party data APIs. No personal information is shared with these providers.

5. Data Retention

Analytics and crash data is retained for up to 14 months, in line with Google Firebase defaults. Subscription status is retained while you hold an active subscription and for a short period afterward to handle renewals and refunds.

If you uninstall the app, no further data is collected. Firebase may retain aggregated analytics for the retention period described above.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation:

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Erasure — request deletion of your personal data
• Correction — request correction of inaccurate data
• Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
• Object — object to processing based on legitimate interests
• Withdraw consent — withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent

7. Children's Privacy

SportTips AI is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Data Security

We rely on industry-standard security measures provided by Firebase and RevenueCat. Data is transmitted over HTTPS. We do not store sensitive personal data on our own servers.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify you via an in-app notice.
